Mercenaries 2 Multiplayer Fix

So I have had Mercenaries 2 World In Flames for a while, however my friend just got it on sale from Xfire.

He wanted to Co-op really bad so I figured why not. We went to connect to each other however its was not working. So we both made sure to install the 1.1 patch (Which you can find here)

So some of you may have run into this error it says something like "your version is incompatible with the server's version"

I have something that may help you fix it. I created this registry file, and it fixed my friends computer and we were able to play co op together. Both you and your friend run this registry file, and as long as you have both patched you should be able to play co op together.

As always back up your reg before running this file in case it doesn't work as you hoped. (Disclaimer)

Dirt2 Autosave Corruption Fix (Exclusive File)

It seems like just yesterday I was telling you about a fix for Dirt2... Oh wait it was. Well, a day later I got the autosave corrupted error.

So I looked around and from a few fixed on the net I combined them into one uber fix that not only gave me my level back but also my money and cars.

I figured I would share the fix with you other unlucky gamers that may have run into the same problem.

As always back up your saves before you do this fix even though I have build a autobackup into the fix please do not rely on that as your only backup method. Your are using this fix at your own risk. If the file you downloaded doesn't have only this code below its been tampered with.

This fix is for VISTA and WIN7 Only !

Red Faction Guerrilla GFWL Fix

Some people who bought Red Faction: Guerrilla on steam have run into a problem updating Games For Widows Live, and therefore could not play multiplayer.

If you are experiencing this problem, open up a run command, then:

If you have Vista/Win7 64 bit type this:
"C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\XLive\Updates\54510837\Content\rfg_updater.exe" /f "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\red faction guerrilla"

If you have Vista/Win7 32 bit type this:

Call Of Juarez - Bound In Blood Fix

I will be releasing a review later, however I wanted to pass along a fix that helped me get the game going. As many of you trying to play the game have probably found out, it doesn't like two monitors.

To get around this disable one monitor in your windows preferences, then start the game, change it to windowed then choose your desired resolution etc. it should work perfectly. exit the game. Then can then enable your second monitor and if all goes well you will be able to play the game. Enjoy.

EA connection issues fix

After getting a couple EA games that I couldn't play because of " network/DRM  issues " I was really upset. It seemed that because I have Vista x64 Sp1 I couldn't play the games. After alot of searching I found the answer. Its the new network settings in Vista, so I figured out the network settings, and was going to write a batch file to fix them, when I found one on the internet. It was written by Marluxia Kyoshu I modified it slightly so that it explained better what it did, and I am putting it here for you all on the internet seeking answers. 

Games I know it works for:

• Spore
  
• NFS:Undercover
  

I believe it will also fix the EA Downloader issues (though not tested)
